Based on the true story of the Trapp Family Singers, the musical is set in 1940s Austria, where the vivacious nun Maria becomes a governess to a motherless family of seven children. Eventually marrying the children’s widowed father, Navy Captain Georg Von Trapp, Maria brings the entire family together through the joy of song. Recommended for ages 6 and older.
