Our Earth has many kinds of soils from sand to clay to compost and mulch, and you will be handling and learning about their uses and differences. You will also be cooking up compost using leaves, grass, weeds and garbage to help you get started in your own garden.
Your registration for the class covers your visit to the Children’s Garden: the Fall Fun Festival scarecrows now on display, the Children’s Music Garden and the Dino Dig, as well as the Incredible Edibles Garden. You are welcome to tour the rest of the Gardens for beautiful views, special gardens and unique sculptures.
Class fee is $5 per child for two hours of fun – accompanied adults are free!
