The San Diego Zoo will put a wild-animal twist on familiar holiday traditions during its 2012 Jungle Bells celebration. From Dec. 14 to 23, 25 to 31, and Jan. 1 and 2, the Zoo will be a flurry of whimsical décor and holiday-themed activities. The festivities shine with nightly tree-lighting ceremonies and opportunities to meet wintery animals up close.
Jungle Bells is free with paid admission to the San Diego Zoo. Activities are most concentrated in late afternoon and early evening.
