Rangers introduce your child to the wonders and simple pleasures of birding. San Elijo Lagoon swells with a dazzling array of bird species every winter as over 300 different bird species flock here. Your child will learn basic bird identification skills with the help of a field guide and binoculars. Please bring a small notepad, sunscreen, hat, water, snacks, and appropriate hiking shoes.
$15 per child includes field guide and observation notebook.
