
On Tuesday, June 18, at 8:00 a.m., the City of El Cajon Recreation Department staff at the Fletcher Hills Pool will be part of a worldwide effort to break the Guinness World Record for the fourth annual World’s Largest Swim Lesson. All swim lessons across the world start simultaneously at 8:00 a.m. sharp, Pacific Standard Time (PST). Last year, over 24,000 people participated across the globe. This special event is an effort to inform people of the importance of water safety and to spread the word that swimming lessons save lives.
Registration is at the Fletcher Hills Pool, 2345 Center Place, El Cajon, CA. The fee to participate is $1, pre-registration is highly recommended.
