Local San Diegans are getting a holiday treat courtesy of the Maritime Museum of San Diego. Any San Diegan presenting an ID with a San Diego County zip code from November 17 through December 25 gets free admission if they bring a guest with them who presents an ID with an out of town zip code and pays full price admission. No coupons or passes accepted.
From December 15-31, the museum will have Sailor Days for the kids. Knot tying, sail raising, scavenger hunts and prizes are all included with a child’s admission. For just $5 more, guests can take a 45 minute historic bay cruise on San Diego Bay about the 1914 Pilot boat. The museum is open everyday including holidays from 9am-8pm.
