The Salvation Army Kroc Center’s Kroc Kids Junior Theatre Company is casting for Once Upon a Mattress! This casting call is for actors of all skill levels from ages 7-18. Auditions will be held February 28th and March 1. There will also be three FREE pre-audition acting workshops taught by actor Randall Dodge!
About the show: If you thought you knew the story of ‘The Princess and the Pea’, you may be in for a walloping surprise! Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you’ll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.
Auditions: February 28 and March 1, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30-6:30 p.m. with occasional Saturdays, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Performances: May 25-27
The three free workshops taught by actor Randall Dodge will be held February 4, 11, and 18 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., in the Education Center Bandroom. Sign up anytime before the workshops.
